University Foundation Programme

The University Foundation Programme (UFP) is a one-year intensive course that leads to entry to a wide range of universities in the United Kingdom. It is designed as an alternative to the conventional A-Level route, which takes two years to complete.

Entry requirements:

          • English: Minimum IELTS 5 /  CEF B1 or 5 GCSE’s

            • CAT4 Test

              • School Report

                • Age: 16 – 18

Compulsory Subjects

                    • Mathematics ( 5hours pw / exam only)

                      • ICT (3 Hours pw/ exam only)

                        • English (5 Hours pw/ exam only)

Pathway 1,  Business and Finance

                              • Business Studies (4 hours pw / exam and controlled assessment)

                                • Marketing (3 hours pw/ exam and controlled assessment)

                                  • Finance (3 hours pw / exam only)

Pathway 2, Engineering and Computer Science

                                      • Further Mathematics (5 hours pw/ exam only)

                                        • Pyshics (5 hours pw/ exam and practicals)

                                          • or

                                            • Computing (5 hours pw/ exam and controlled assessment)

Pathway 3, Humanities, Law and Social Sciences

                                            • History (4hours pw), Media Studies (3 hours pw) and Citizenship (3 hours pw)

                                              • Pathway 4, Art & Design

                                                • Art & Design (7 hours pw) Graphic Design (3 hours pw)
