DONATE

North London Grammar Schools (NLGS) is a registered charity in England number 1142914, and you can donate using the link below.

Gift Aid

Donations from UK taxpayers benefit from the government’s Gift Aid scheme, which can greatly increase the total donation the School receives. For every £1 donated, NLGS can claim 25 pence of tax at no additional cost to you.

To qualify for GiftAid, you must:

– Be a UK taxpayer
– Have paid enough Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax in the current tax year to cover the amount we’ll claim
– Complete a simple GiftAid declaration (one-time form)

All donations will go towards the school development plan. The plan, drawn up in consultation with the immediate school community, including students, governors, and the senior team, outlines the school’s longer-term vision, current developments, and targets.  The senior and middle leadership team, as well as governors, use action plans as guiding, working documents. We also inform each school team’s Department about the whole school’s SIP.

The Governors play a crucial role in monitoring the SIP through their committees. They also attend full Governors’ meetings where the Headteacher provides an evaluation of progress towards achieving the SIP targets. Governors are linked to departments and represent the Achievement Meetings (faculty/departmental self-assessment presentations) as well as key events. In this way, they act as critical friends, challenging and supporting the school’s work.

Your donations help us improve our school.

About NLGS

At NLGS, we take pride in knowing each and every one of our students. We put our students at the centre of all we do, and promote a clear set of values, which underpin the NLGS culture. Our values are based on three pillars: ‘Bonitas, Scientia, Disciplina’, which is Latin for ‘Goodness, Knowledge, and Instruction’.
