The Boarding Schools’ Association

North London Grammar School is a member of The Boarding Schools’ Association. . The Boarding Schools’ Association (BSA) represents member boarding schools, provides staff training and promotes boarding education in both independent and state boarding schools in 35 countries across the world.

We have adopted the BSA Covid-Safe Charter and confirm that we will comply with all government rules and guidance. Will meet the requirements when boarding reopens.

Here at North London Grammar School, we require all students to have appropriate social distancing in all areas of school.

Some point to mention

We can guarantee the availability of the quantity soap and disposable paper towels in all washing areas is updated, so we are always in stock for students to use.

At key points in the house and around the school we have provided hand sanitisers at different stations.

In relation to laundry usage, we will ensure all laundry procedures are clear and safe for staff and pupils

Furthermore, we will ensure to provide appropriate PPE for any staff performing roles which will require it

In the boarding house and school building, we have made sure to implement enhanced daily cleaning procedures and ensure that all relevant staff have access to appropriate PPE

We permit face coverings or masks to use by pupils and staff.

Around the school, we display clear notices explaining new procedures

We do not permit any equipment to share between pupils, other than when appropriate cleaning is taking place.

Recreation areas have been allocated both inside and outside for use by designated borders and ensure they are aware of any new procedures and safe occupancy levels

We will be conducing regular temperature checks of all pupils and staff and of any visitors, including parents
