Mr Fatih Adak – Head Teacher
As the head of Senior Leadership Team, Mr Adak is a passionate professional educator with over ten years’ experience as headteacher in various schools. Previously he served as headteacher at the ABZ International Private School in Abu Dhabi. Before ABZ School, Mr Adak was headteacher at Sonoran Science Academy in Arizona USA, which was selected the school of the year among 500 schools in Arizona.
Mrs Gillian Erdil – Senior Deputy Head
Director of Teaching and Learning
Mrs Erdil joined NLGS in 2021 as Head of Humanities and took on the role of Senior Deputy Head in 2022. She has over 20 years of experience in the Independent Schools Sector, including over 10 years of experience in Senior Management. She joined from St Margaret’s School in Bushey. Before that, she was Head of Geography at Forest School in East London. She was educated at both Cambridge University and Brunel University where she recently gained a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and Management.
Mrs Lena Dhrona – Deputy Head
Director of Pastoral Services & DSL
Mrs Dhrona joined NLGS in 2016, overseeing both the Maths and Science Department. She completed her BA Honours in Accounting Studies from Thames University and later her PGCE with Masters from the Institute of Education. She has a subject specialism in mathematics at Masters Level. In August 2019 she completed her NPQSL and in 2020 she completed the Careers Lead Qualification at Masters Level. In 2018 she was promoted to Director of Pastoral Services and in 2020 was awarded with the Pastoral Leader of the Year Award by NAPCE. In 2022 She was promoted to Deputy Head, Director of Pastoral Services and DSL. She has over 17 years of experience in Education.
