At North London Grammar School, we take pride in teaching our students to be socially responsible citizens, a value that is strongly reflected by our parent community. This commitment was on full display on Friday, 26th September 2025, when we invited our parent community to join us in supporting a cause close to our heart – Macmillan Cancer Support.

We were honoured to welcome special guests, Barnet Councillor Nagus Narenthira, to join our Macmillan Cancer coffee and cake event. The councillor are deeply passionate about education and their decision to take time out of their busy schedules to support our shared mission for Macmillan Cancer was a testament to their commitment to both the NLGS community and the charity.

The event showcased the generosity and creativity of our parent community, who contributed and enjoyed a delightful array of beautifully home-baked cakes and treats. During the event we are proud to have raised considerable funds that will help Macmillan Cancer Support continue to make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer. We remain dedicated to supporting this worthy cause in the future.
