Students in KS3 follow a broad curriculum designed to build strong foundations for GCSE study. Subjects offered include:
Core Subjects: English, Mathematics, Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics taught separately).
Humanities: Geography, History, Religious Education.
Languages & Arts: Spanish, Art, Drama, Music.
Technology & Wellbeing: Computer Science, Sport & PE, PSHE.
Students also participate in daily form time activities focused on Literacy, Numeracy, PSHE, and SMSC (Social, Moral, Spiritual, and Cultural development).
In KS4, students follow personalised pathways aligned with their strengths and goals. All students study core GCSE subjects:
Compulsory GCSEs: English Language and Literature, Maths, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
Optional GCSEs (based on pathway):
Art, Computer Science, Business Studies, Spanish, History, Geography, Music, PE, Psychology.
PSHE and Core PE remains a compulsory, non-assessed subject throughout KS4.
At North London Grammar School, we encourage academic excellence through participation in international Olympiads. With the support of dedicated teachers, our students have earned gold and silver medals—reflecting our commitment to nurturing talent beyond the classroom.
We also offer award winning International Greenwich Olympiad (IGO) a Project competition run and organised by North London Grammar School.
