On 6th February, North London Grammar School proudly hosted the Judge’s Appreciation Dinner in honour of the distinguished judges of the International Greenwich Olympiad. The evening was a celebration of collaboration, achievement, and shared commitment to excellence in education.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome and opening remarks by Mr Adak, Headteacher of NLGS, who expressed sincere gratitude to the judges and guests for their invaluable contribution to maintaining the high academic standards and global reputation of the Olympiad. The address highlighted the importance of integrity, expertise, and mentorship in shaping a meaningful competition experience for students worldwide. Guests were then introduced to NLGS through a dedicated school presentation video, offering insight into the school’s vision, values, and its role as the proud host of the International Greenwich Olympiad. This was followed by the IGO Success Highlights segment, showcasing key milestones, international participation, and the remarkable achievements of students across scientific and creative disciplines.

A special highlight of the evening was the address delivered by Ms. Severine Trouillet, CEO of STEM Learning UK. Her inspiring speech emphasised the global significance of STEM education, innovation, and cross-border collaboration—values strongly reflected in the mission of the IGO.

Thank you to Councillor Nagus Narenthira for her kind words of support.

The formal programme transitioned into a seated dinner, providing an excellent opportunity for networking and meaningful dialogue among judges, educators, and organisers.
