Enrichment & House Groups

Enrichment programs are a key feature in strengthening student skills across the whole curriculum, keeping our students active and healthy within school hours. Our vast range of activities include; sports, exercise, fun challenging team building activities, improving social skills and many other skills are targeted within these enrichment activities. Here are some of the sport and other enrichment activities we offer during the year to all students:

House group competitions

At North London Grammar School we select students from all year groups equally depending on – general ability in sport, general knowledge and school subject level ability – to put them into four competitive house groups. As competition is very important for all students, we have 3 major house group competitions during the teaching year to give our students an opportunity to shine and to challenge them further in all of their abilities. These are some of the competitions we hold during the year:

  • All group football house competition
  • General knowledge & general school subject competition
  • Sports day & athletics competition
