After eight very successful Maths Challenges, we are very happy to announce that the ninth Maths Challenge will be held on Saturday 24th February 2018.
The competition aims to stimulate interest in mathematics amongst primary school students and to recognise those who exhibit exceptional talent in this area.
The competition is open only to the current year 6 students in North London and neighbouring boroughs. Your school can register a maximum of 5 students. Students must arrive at 10.30 am for registration. The competition consists of a 50-minute multiple-choice test in which each participant entirely works independently. Furthermore, no calculators, books, notes, or other equipment are permitted in to the examination hall. All necessary equipment will be given to the students on the day including refreshments. There will be entertainment while students wait for the award ceremony.
The result of the competition will be announced on the day and all students will receive a certificate and the following prizes will be awarded:
